My approach to therapy consists of an eclectic background, as individuals we are complex and not ‘one size fits all.’ I have a background in working with children, couples, and individuals, of diverse backgrounds. I aspire to help individuals of all backgrounds confront current life stressors, past trauma, and interpersonal struggles. To do so, I emphasize creating a safe and non-judgmental environment, while providing psychoeducation, coping skills, tailored to individual treatment and goals. I believe that all individuals have the strength within themselves to live a fulfilling life with strong connection to self and others. My areas of focus consist of anxiety, family conflict, trauma, life changes/stressors, self-love/esteem, depressive symptoms, and setting boundaries. With this, I often implement CBT, mindfulness, and talk therapy with a heart aspect to help the heart be heard to work towards healing/change, and EMDR to process through trauma, fears, and anxieties. Please send me an email rather than call, as this is the quickest method of communication since I am in sessions throughout the day and can respond as soon as possible. We can set up a call to consult, if needed. Also, please see my website for more information. I look forward to the opportunity to touch base and work together, thank you!
