About

Are you trying to make changes in yourself, your work, your education, or your relationships? Maybe the problem is clear but the solution feels out of reach. Or maybe it’s not quite clear what is out of kilter, but you or they sense change is necessary. Even if there is no owner's manual for change, my life experience as a parent/grandparent, and my varied professional background in mental health, public policy, and academia have convinced me that change can be an enriching part of life. Psychotherapy is a place to explore change openly.

Together we will explore your identities, your dreams, your values, and your fears. Therapy is a sanctuary from the judgements we make of ourselves and those we fear others make of us. It is a place for us to contemplate together how you came to be who you are and feel how you feel so you can move forward with a greater sense of freedom.

Using supportive exploration and pragmatic guidance, I will work with you to explore who you are and why you feel the way you do. This includes understanding the identities you hold, where you come from, and the cultures in which you live. I am licensed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and, Illinois.
