I am the founder and principal therapist of Nova Psychotherapy. I provide individual psychotherapy to adults looking to establish a long term therapeutic relationship. I draw from several psychodynamic theories to help patients develop a greater understanding of themselves and their relationships, create more positive patterns in how they relate to others, and experience personal growth. I have extensive experience working with college students and young professionals. I am passionate about working with a multicultural population. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and provide therapy in both languages. My specialty areas include: Anxiety and Mood Disorders, Relational Issues, Family Conflict, Adjusting to Life Transitions, College Life, Multicultural issues, Trauma, Social Justice Issues. Throughout my career I have worked in community clinics, schools, and private practice settings; treating adults, adolescents, and children, from diverse backgrounds. To learn more about my practice and to schedule an appointment please visit our website: www.novapsychotherapy.com. The Intake Appointment is a 50-minute session that allows you to meet me, ask any questions you have, and discuss scheduling, fees, and insurance issues. I look forward to speaking with you.
