Welcome! If you’ve landed on this site it means you or someone you care about is having a hard time and you’re taking the first step to get help which is no easy task. I work with people at all life stages, with a specialty in adolescence, adults and families. My training in evidence based modalities includes cognitive, mindfulness and trauma informed approaches to healing. My 25 years of experience has taught me that self awareness, healing and growth happens in a compassionate and collaborative relationship that feels safe and supportive. Together we can sort out challenges and move your life towards healing and happiness. As a trauma therapist I understand trauma's impact on emotions and the body. I strive to create a safe space to explore your history while also using trauma informed treatments for healing. In my work with teens, I've seen social media and smartphones erode confidence and increase anxiety. Teens improve when they can explore and understand their issues. People need a safe, secure and collaborative environment to explore and make sense of their inner world. Through that exploration change and growth can happen.
