Hi there, I'm Evallison! My name is Allison Eddy. I have a Master degree in Christian Psychology and an LPC license. My approach to therapy is everyone has a story to tell, so I want the client to feel comfortable to tell their story and work toward healing and bettering themselves. This is the clients session so I want them to get the most out of what they are trying to achieve. My most common approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I do pull from other techniques depending on what is going on with the client and which techniques works best for them. I try to be pretty relaxed. I want the client to be comfortable. I have no judgement for the stories brought to me and listen with intention. I want my clients to know it's okay to say things in therapy you would not say anywhere else. My approach to goal setting is talking with the client about what their goals are and how they can accomplish them.
