I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of clinical experience working with children, families, and couples. As a psychotherapist, I believe in assisting clients to better their relationship with others, to understand and achieve a life that is meaningful and fulfilling. At times we react to life's adversities with fear and anger, burying our joy and hope. Through therapeutic support, I help my clients learn to recognize healthy ways to react to life's trials and take control in order to move forward and seek self-actualization and gratification. My role as a therapist is to help facilitate a healing moment. I use a variety of treatment techniques to stabilize and improve overall functioning in clients. I emphasize systemic and relational perspectives, solution focused as well as a cognitive behavioral treatment approaches. I am a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish) with experience working with individuals and families across cultures. Also, I provide Clinical Supervision for master's level therapists seeking Licensure as Mental Health Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists in the state of Florida.
