Sometimes all it takes is one person validating your humanity for change to occur. By providing you with external validation, we can tap into your own source of self-validation. I will acknowledge how your context shapes your understanding of yourself and the world. We can explore parts of your identity and I will acknowledge them and their need to be healed. As your therapist, creating a safe environment is my priority because I recognize the strength it takes to begin a journey towards healing.
