Are you feeling anxious or depressed, or even just stressed and overwhelmed by the conditions in your life? Or maybe you're going through a life transition and trying to find your purpose or what you want for the next chapter? Whether it's an individual, couple or family issue, I would love the opportunity to help you work through it. My client centered approach to therapy means that I aim to truly understand and empathize with the client. By encouraging self awareness, identifying negative contributing factors, and building skills for beneficial change, clients may find relief in suffering and increased satisfaction and well-being. My goal is to help people become more self aware of their internal resources to regulate their emotions and increase confidence and agency, as well as make changes that can positively impact their life. In couples work, I help clients explore their relationship systems to increase greater levels of communication, understanding, empathy, and connection. I know how difficult and out-of-control life can feel. Whether it's a personal struggle or a crisis in your most intimate relationship, the pain and hopelessness can feel overwhelming. But I truly believe that people have the power and resources to create more satisfaction in their lives and relationships, and with a little guidance relief is possible!
