Taking this initial step to find a therapist that you feel will be a good match for you can sometimes feel a bit scary and overwhelming. I remember how "outside of my comfort zone" I felt when I first started this healing journey myself. I would love to help you feel less overwhelmed and like you are giving stress, anxiety, and emotional pain less of your energy. My passion is to help you learn how to feel confident in your own skin, and create a meaningful life that makes you excited to wake up in the morning. It is not as out of reach as you may feel it is right now. Baby steps in the right direction is still progress! Therapy with me often involves a mixture of education (for example, coping and grounding skills), helping you change unhelpful/negative thought patterns, coming up with solutions, and working on important goals. And don't forget a dash of humor! I can't tell you how often I have cried from laughing with clients. Therapy doesn't always have to be so serious! My goal as your therapist is to create a safe space for you where you can feel heard and validated as you embark on a journey to find and become your unique, authentic self.
