I specialize in adult individuals struggling with all types of issues: life transitions, depression and anxiety, addiction, bi-polar, OCD, and more. I enjoy working with people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. I employ a psychodynamic framework with most of my clients, however, I utilizes many cognitive-behavioral techniques and principles, as well. I especially enjoy the integration of Christian spirituality and psychology, though I welcome any one from any background. I believe that who we are is formed in relationship, so healing comes through (the therapeutic) relationship. I have worked for many years with those struggling with mood and anxiety disorders: dealing with symptoms and underlying issues. I have also worked with addiction or compulsive behaviors: whether its your relationship with food, the internet or a substance. Christian theology and its integration with psychology is an area of in depth study for me.. I lived in the Middle East for 6 years and traveled to over 20 countries (in Africa, Europe & Asia). I am in a cross-cultural marriage and enjoy working with people from other cultures.
