My work is centered around helping individuals, couples & relationships navigate complex issues with others and themselves. The clients I work with in therapy are often focused on processing relationship issues, trauma, grief, and concerns related to depression & anxiety. I consider it a privilege to work with people of varying backgrounds and identities. As a therapist, I am poly affirming & find it especially meaningful to work with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. In my work, I use research-backed approaches & greatly value the therapeutic relationship. As a psychotherapist, I think it is vitally important to tailor therapy to the unique needs of each client, and create a space of warmth, empathy, and logic. The therapy process requires a courageous level of vulnerability - finding a therapist that's a personality fit & creates a safe, non-judgmental space for processing is key. I am responsive to everyone who reaches out, and am always happy to provide referrals for folks who need help finding a therapist.
