About

Whether you are an individual or a couple that has experienced trauma, I can provide guidance and a space for healing. Trauma can affect our relationships and impact us in unexpected ways. If you struggle with enjoying intimate acts with your partner, the company of others, and struggle to understand your actions, I can help provide some understanding and a space for healing. I am a LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and am very comfortable working with anyone who seeks to understand and work through their trauma.

I use Trauma-Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In our work together you will gain a sense of understanding of why unhelpful behaviors persist and develop healthier ways to respond to your trauma. We will learn how to respond to flashbacks or dissociative episodes in a way where you can live your life according to your values.

Admitting you need help is hard. Sometimes seeking help can be even harder. Together we will make a space where you will feel heard and can be free to speak about what troubles you. Together we will work through and come to a better understanding of your coping skills and why you may continue to use unhealthy habits as it relates to trauma.
