About

Do you feel overwhelmed? Do you feel like you’re giving your all but nothing seems to work? Many of us come to counseling only after trying every possible solution we can find on our own. We all reach these stuck points at times. As a counselor, my job is to help you find new solutions: to gain a new perspective. It is my honor to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space for people to unpack their thoughts, feelings, struggles, and hopes while empowering them to work towards a life that they love. I see counseling as a team effort. Together, we will work to understand your goals, and to set a plan to achieve them.

I believe it's important to work in the present while gaining insight into how we've become stuck. My approach involves problem solving and skill building balanced with exploration of our history, worldview, and pattern of relating to others and the world around us. Techniques from a variety of counseling theories are used according to each person's need.

Since the beginning of my practice, I’ve helped persons struggling with addiction and their loved ones work towards mental and emotional wellbeing. This has given me experience in working with a wide range of concerns. I'm accepting evening appointments in person and via telehealth.
