My goal is to help open to transformation through awareness. It is normal that there are times in life when things get in the way of feeling or doing your best, or even feeling like yourself. Old problems are like toxic waste buried in the backyard. You can lay sod over it, but it’s still there and leaks out at unpredictable times. Sometimes people know where they are stuck, and sometimes not- we'll just start where you are. Anxiety, depression, substance abuse, old trauma, stuck patterns in relationships, feeling dissatisfaction with work and life are all worthy of our attention and work. With over 20 years experience, individuals, couples and with first responders, I know how difficult it is to ask for help when you're used to being the one in control. I work with relational psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, and IFS (Internal Family Systems). With couples I practice Intimacy from the Inside Out, a couples approach within IFS. I work in collaboration with you to identify what you are seeking in therapy, and we create the process together based on your knowledge of yourself, and the relevant clinical tools to help you move forward. We all deserve a sense of increased ease of well being, a sense of pleasure in who we are and in how we live life. You're in the right place.
