The heart of my practice is helping clients discover and effect the changes they want in their lives with empathy, compassion, honesty, and respect. I understand that life can present us with painful challenges, and I strive to meet you exactly where you are and help get you where you want to be. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am deeply committed to assisting people with recovery in all of its guises, including depression, anxiety, substance use, relationship issues, environmental stresses, issues faced by members of the LGBTQ+ community, and trauma. Drawing on my experience with a number of treatment methods, I work with my clients to meet them exactly where they are to help them in the search for who, what, and where they want to be. Understanding there is no “one size fits all” when working with clients, I am a person centered therapist and employ a holistic approach to therapy. I believe that in our search for happiness and meaning in life, we sometimes lose our way and our sense of hope. Through my own journey I have come to perceive the therapeutic process as a powerful vehicle for helping people discover their own potential and access their ability to change and grow.
