Informed by 25 years of experience and a practice in meditation and yoga, Emily is guided by respect for her clients. She values deep listening and therapy as a collaborative process. Helping people with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, trauma, women's health and men's issues, she creates a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore habits and patterns, and develop self-compassion and curiosity. Using a variety of techniques, Emily can help you to assess where you feel stuck and how to move forward, and also break down and bring more understanding to situations. Psychodynamically trained, she uses somatic therapy, mindfulness, self-compassion, parts work and EMDR to guide you toward your goals. Therapy is a relational process, and the fit between therapist and client is key to progress – please feel free to reach out and schedule a short phone call to see if we would work well together!
