With a warm, practical style, aimed to enhance and maintain both short- and long-term change, I collaborate with individuals to help navigate life’s challenges. I focus on collaboration and fostering a nonjudgmental relationship by meeting clients where they are and adapting treatment to fit individual needs. My clinical experience includes working with a wide variety of mental health challenges: substance use, mood disorders, anxiety, grief, and trauma, drawing from a variety of approaches including ACT, CBT, CRAFT, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic psychotherapies. My research experience and research has mainly focused on substance use, both its impact on individuals and communities. In addition to substance use, I have received specialized in the treatment of chronic pain using an evidence based, CBT protocol tailored to introduce and practice pain-reducing techniques; ERP for OCD; and grief-specific processing.
