About

I'm a licensed psychologist specializing in anxiety, trauma, depression, and relationship issues. My style is warm and collaborative and I work to create a supportive environment in which my clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings. I work from a psychodynamic framework, meaning that I believe the problems clients face are often rooted in current and past relational experiences as well as in feelings outside of conscious awareness. I also work collaboratively with clients integrating mindfulness techniques and mind-body focused approaches to help them experience relief from symptoms and gain greater self-awareness.

I have experience working with adolescents and adults in a number of settings. As a result, I am comfortable working with a diverse group of clients with struggles related to a variety of issues; from grief and compulsions to relationship dissatisfaction. In addition, I have specialized expertise working with issues of trauma and sexual trauma.

Taking the first step toward finding a therapist and beginning psychotherapy can feel daunting. It is my goal to help my clients navigate through the process so that they can ultimately feel comfortable, safe, and experience relief from their symptoms and lead more fulfilling, enriched lives. Please call for a consultation. I'd be happy to speak with you.
