Anxiety, fear, sadness, guilt, shame, anger, addiction, and depression are all signs of trauma. Trauma responses can cause a lot of stress in your life. You want to love and be loved, but you shut down, overreact, struggle in a variety of ways. You dismiss your pain because deep down you feel that you are not worth it. I promise that you are deserving of love and connection. Something (or many things) have happened along the way to make you feel like this. In our work together, we will resolve the shame, uncomfortable feelings, and get you to feeling like you-the real you!

We focus on why you feel distressed, but also on real solutions that make life better. I believe an environment of acceptance, privacy, and curiosity is the foundation for therapy. I don't believe that therapy should go on and on for years. If you are ready to change and heal, this process shouldn't take too long.
