Being a parent can be the most rewarding but also the most difficult job out there. Sometimes it can feel so mysterious and complicated, and sometimes when children experience distressing feelings of anxiety or anger or have persistent behavioral concerns, parents can feel like they just have no idea if they’re on the right track or not. I would like to help take some of the guesswork out of parenting. I work with parents and kids using PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy) to address behavior problems in young children, as well as individual and family therapy to give kids and caregivers coping strategies and to help improve family communication. Things can get better! If your family could use some help addressing behavior concerns, distressing feelings that interfere with day-to-day life, or other barriers to effective family dynamics, I hope you will reach out! I look forward to meeting you!
