I work with teens and adults who are looking to better understand themselves, their emotions, and their relationships. My aim is to create a place for supported discovery and to help clients move toward what matters most to them. I consider it an important aspect of therapeutic work to examine how our environment and culture have shaped us, and where there is opportunity to empower ourselves and connect to others. I support clients in navigating depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and self-harm, recovery from trauma, as well as concerns around body image and self worth. As a queer person, I am dedicated to providing affirming support for LGBTQ+ people. I enjoy working clients on all aspects of sexual and gender identities. My practice incorporates both cognitive and somatic approaches. I draw from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My work is informed by Attachment Theory and Feminist Multicultural Therapy.
