Coming to therapy for the first time is often incredibly daunting, especially in the midst some kind of suffering, which generally brings people to therapy. I work to create a space that is open and accepting as well as interactive. Together, we can plan your journey and outline the steps and tools we can learn in session to help you outside of session. View 4 Photos I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Therapy, and EMDR in session, flexibly to best suit each client’s needs. ACT is an interactive and engaging therapy that gives us the tools to ride the highs and lows of life with self-compassion, while Somatic Therapy and EMDR can help identify the hows or whys of how our past impacts our present. I firmly believe in the inherent resilience and potential for growth within each individual and that our environment plays a major role in our well-being. Together, we can help develop your own personal toolkit to negotiate anything life throws at you.
