I specialize in working with children (as young as 2 years old), adolescents, young adults, and families. Even when I am working individually with a child, I involve parents in every session so that the whole family learns new skills and communication patterns. As a parent myself, I understand that when our children are suffering, we suffer. I seek to support the entire family on their path toward change and better health. We often hire coaches or tutors to help our children develop in sports or academics. I consider myself an emotion coach, here to help children and parents navigate their emotional worlds and achieve their goals. I am trained in evidenced based treatments to help with anxiety (including OCD using ERP), depression, ADHD, and general behavioral challenges. As a highly trained specialist in the field of child psychology, I also work from a prevention and skill-based standpoint to teach all children essential emotion regulation skills. My approach is centered around each clients' individual goals and needs. I flexibly pull from multiple, research based treatment approaches to give my clients the best results possible. I know it can feel uncertain when choosing a provider for your family. I am happy to answer any questions you have to make you feel confident in your decision.
