I'm not the therapist you see in movies. I drink too much Diet Coke, I sit with my feet in my chair, I ask the hard questions, and I cuss a little. I know if I’m not real, I can’t expect you to be either; and when you feel safe to be real with me, we can work on how that carries over to the rest of your life. We will unravel the complexities that make you exactly who you are and arrange each piece in a way that you take pride in, at a pace you are comfortable with. Being confident and calm in your body is your birthright; the journey to finding both begins with getting curious. I believe, wholeheartedly, in your ability to heal. I offer a variety of treatment modalities which are helpful for people dealing with the effects of childhood and adult trauma. Many people struggle with issues of self-image which can lead to living in shame, often causing relationship problems, symptoms of anxiety, and substance use. I'm glad you're here.
