I am a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience. That being said, I've learned there is always room for growth and change. I offer acceptance of whatever you bring to talk about with a non biased perspective and no judgments or criticism. My life experiences have taught me empathy and compassion as well as keeping boundaries. I am a Christian and can incorporate faith and scripture into our sessions. I enjoy working with someone who is open and honest. It's great if I can challenge your thinking and perspective on your life, situations and experiences. I especially enjoy working with teens, families, and couples. I am building a clientele of aging men as well as women who find themselves struggling with change and a surprise that life hasn't turned out quite as they expected.I incorporate talk therapy, Jungian and Gestalt theories, and DBT/CBT into sessions. Sometimes a situation can feel so big you don't know where to begin. I can help break it down and help you get a handle on it. It IS do-able. There IS hope. Give me a call or send me an email.
