Welcome! I am glad you are here and I respect your courage to engage in this process. Throughout my fifteen years of practice as a counselor and art therapist, I have been privileged to work alongside adolescents and adults in their healing journeys. My aim is to create a safe and nurturing environment that helps empower you to navigate life's difficulties. In our work together, we will lean on your innate strengths to increase resilience, compassion and self-awareness. I enjoy helping my clients develop strategies for coping with symptoms of ADHD, processing trauma, moving through grief and managing anger, depression and anxiety. My approach to therapy is with a trauma-informed lens, integrating holistic and evidence-based practices. In addition to using art therapy, I am trained in EMDR and also draw from somatic techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Ego States therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral techniques and motivational interviewing. My goal is to help my clients develop self-compassion, resiliency and agency, enabling you to confront challenges and embrace growth. I look forward to being in a partnership with you, as you develop and integrate ways to thrive versus just surviving. You deserve connection and healing and I am here to help.
