About

I have over ten years of experience in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), specific phobias, panic disorder, agoraphobia, social anxiety disorder, school anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, and depression. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and related disorders across the lifespan (ages 4+), and have particular expertise in working with children and adolescents. I incorporate technology to enhance treatment outcomes using tools such as biofeedback training (for pain and anxiety) and Virtual Reality treatment for fear of needles, flying, heights, bugs, driving, and more. Most often my treatment approach is Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), which focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that lead to anxiety and depression. I also incorporate acceptance and mindfulness-based techniques, as well as a holistic approach to mind-body wellness.

My goal is to work collaboratively with you empower you to make meaningful change. I provide tools to clients so they are equipped to face their fears and reconnect with a meaningful life. You can learn more about my practice at: www.elizabethdavisphd.com I look forward to hearing from you.
