As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist, I work with clients at all ages and stages of life. I take a client-centered approach and follow the needs of each individual depending on whether they prefer talk therapy, art therapy or a combination. Majority of my experience includes working with clients that struggle with anxiety, depression, attachment issues, family conflict, trauma and abuse/neglect. I aim to create a safe space to build trust and empower self growth in my clients. Therapy has been healing in my own life and I hope to provide support for others struggling with their mental health. My therapeutic modalities are integrative and include: Trauma informed care, Art Therapy, Parts Work, EMDR and ITR in my work with adults. When treating children and teens, I utilize a combination of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy, Sand Tray therapy and Art Therapy techniques. At this time, I am working remotely with children, teens and adults. When working virtually, it can be challenging for children under 8 years old to fully engage in the session. I will consider each client on a case by case basis. I look forward to learning more about you in a consultation call to see if my services are a good fit!
