The human brain is amazingly resilient and powerful. Our minds can learn, and relearn relational patterns, thoughts, and behaviors. I believe that therapy is a place to explore and gain insight into how our early childhood experiences impact our later relationships and functioning. I also believe it is important to build skills and strategies to manage our present-day difficulties. My hope is that therapy will both help you understand why you are feeling the way you do as well as give you tools to help you to feel better. I specialize in providing individual therapy for adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, depression, and anxiety. I am trained in both psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches, which allows me to tailor treatment to your specific needs. I know how daunting it can be to reach out and ask for help. I prioritize creating a therapeutic environment that feels safe, containing, and collaborative. I offer a free consultation to determine whether we are a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you if you are interested in getting started or have any questions.
