As an integrative therapist, my treatment approach is to provide direction, support and practical feedback to help individuals, couples and families address current life challenges. With compassion, understanding and clinical expertise, I help clients find resolution to a wide range of interpersonal issues. I draw from a variety of proven methodologies and techniques to incorporate what is most helpful for each individual. I specialize in treating the follow issues: Anxiety, Depression, Coflictual Couples, Conflict Avoidant Couples, Low Intimacy Couples, Couples struggling with Infertility, Recovering from Infidelity, Family Boundaries and Communication, Blended Families, Co-parenting Techniques, Difficult Adolescents, and Adolescents with Academic and Social Pressures.

With over 18 years experience, I am currently an Associate Professor in the Couple & Family Therapy Program at the University of Louisville. I am Past President of the Kentucky Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. I practice a "Common Factors" approach to therapy that prioritizes client motivations and strengths.
