As I once desperately needed a trustworthy therapist to navigate my most difficult life seasons, my dream career has been fulfilled by being that person for others. My counseling experience began by treating eating disorders in inpatient, residential and partial hospitalization, where I observed the devastation eating disorders cause - and that they're about so much more than food and weight. Now counseling in outpatient, I still especially love treating disordered eating and body image struggles. Since my Christian faith was a central piece of my own recovery, I incorporate it into my work with clients whenever they prefer it. View 4 Photos My combination of training in EMDR, DBT, and CBT alongside my deep Christian faith have enabled me to treat clients holistically and wade through the presenting behaviors to address the struggles beneath. I have experience treating anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OCD, and the trauma/anxiety/depression that often accompany these struggles. I would love to connect - please reach out so we can see if we'd be a good fit together. At this time, I have both in-person and telehealth sessions available.
