About

After working 11 years in a local hospital and then providing home palliative services for 9 years, my strengths are working with those navigating illness and the healthcare system. There are many challenges related to illness, and every illness and person cope differently. My goal is to assist you through this process to help ensure that your needs are met based on where you are emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually, and to improve quality of life.

EMDR and CBT are great therapies to help those suffering from chronic and palliative pain. I have used the two together and separately at different times in my work to assist with pain management. The goal is to not remove the pain with these methods, but to assist the body and brain connection with how pain is processed to make it more manageable.

Feelings of anxiety and depression are very common in those managing an illness, and caregivers of those managing an illness. It is often described as waves of both with many other emotions mixed together at times. Let me use my tools and knowledge to walk this journey beside you.
