Rapport is critical for the therapeutic setting; without a positive connection, therapy is a difficult road. Therapists should provide a meaningful experience, which includes a safe place to share. I believe I need to provide a nonjudgmental environment to help healing. My role as a therapist is working with clients to improve their insight, identify triggers, manage life’s dilemmas and help them manage their symptoms. The goal is to help clients identify what is needed, be it, love, joy, peace, self-control, self-image and/or happiness, I meet my clients "right where they are" w/o judgment, but with clinical insight & experience. When treating Depression/Anxiety/Mood issues, I help clients change thought processes, mood regulation, anger management & self-esteem. Helping clients understand their limitations is critical. I am trained to help with mental and emotional and issues and utilize several evidence-based ways, such as: CBT, DBT, M. Health and Nutrition, & Trauma Training. Please feel free to contact my office to set up an evaluation & intake. Therapy is a great step and a sign of bravery and intellect. I believe people who seek help are stronger than those that don't. We were not designed to live this life in a vacuum, but to live in community. Support systems are important and are necessary for mental & emotional health.
