Has life ever kicked you down and as you were trying to recover from the setback, it felt as though no matter what you did or do, you just can't seem to get back up again? Thoughts and feelings of 'being stuck' ever cross your mind? As we go through life, it can be easy to look for things to blame our struggles on, and as we continue to build these expectations, it's as if we were never in control in the first place! Shifting thoughts, feelings, and perspectives about certain events that happen to us can be an extraordinary challenge; a process that can sometimes take many weeks, months, or even years. And that's okay! I provide a person-centered, strengths-based, collaborative approach to psychotherapy, meaning I believe you are the expert of your own life and may also need some additional guidance to healing. I assist in helping identify possible trauma and its impact on who you are in this moment, and how to address and work through that impact. We can't always get through some of our challenges alone, so finding a therapist may be an important step in your healing process. I am here to help guide you on your journey of shifting perspectives on your understanding of life, relationships, trauma, and everything else in between. I look forward to speaking with you to assist you on this path!
