I believe that the therapeutic relationship is central to success in therapy, and I work collaboratively with clients to design the best course of treatment. I am an active, genuine therapist with a humanistic and cognitive-behavioral focus. I promote self-awareness and positive interpersonal interactions while attending to the unique needs of each client. I work with adults of all ages on a range of client concerns including, but not limited to; anxiety, depression, mood disorders, self-esteem, relationship issues, cognitive issues, and life transitions. In addition to considerable experience with anxiety spectrum disorders, depressive and other mood disorders, and relationship or adjustment issues, I specialize in couples counseling and grief counseling. I also conduct objective and projective personality assessments when clinically indicated, used as a tool to inform the therapeutic process. My office is convenient to much of Northern Baltimore County and also to areas of the city with easy access to Interstate 83 and the 695 Beltway.
