Do you feel stuck in life and constantly juggle between personal space and various obligations? Are you feeling emotionally "trapped" from the past and having a desire to move past this? Whether you are first time in therapy journey or continuing on, the growth towards self-understanding and awareness is the essential step of healing. I am a licensed psychologist with extensive experiences in helping individuals and couples through various struggles and mental health issues. My clients describe me as warm, empowering and collaborative. I adopt an integrative approach, incorporating psychodynamic, DBT, ACT and interpersonal process. As a cis-female and Taiwanese immigrant, I understand the importance of examining the impact of systematic oppression on intersecting identities and mental health. I strive to take the social justice lens and honor your cultural contexts whether they are a source of pride or marginalization in helping me understand your lived experiences. My clinical interests include family of origin, relationships, identities, acculturation and trauma. I specialized in working with Asians/Asian Americans, immigrants, and individuals with marginalized identities. I believe that a positive therapy begins with the trust within the therapeutic relationship and I'm honored to be part of this healing journey.
