I see clients in the evenings via Zoom, working primarily through a psychodynamic lens. I treat a broad range of problems, many of which are related to repeating patterns in relationships, to problems in attachment, or to reactions to stress/trauma including PTSD. Maybe you're feeling stuck in the same relationship patterns, or finding relationships unsatisfying, empty, or chaotic. Perhaps you struggle with low self-esteem or low confidence; with difficulty bouncing back from stress or trauma; or with feelings of emptiness or hopelessness. Or maybe you just want to understand yourself and your behavior patterns better. As a clinical psychologist trained at Penn State (PhD) and MGH/Harvard Medical School (clinical internship), I take an active, curious, and pragmatic approach to help you address the various issues that bring you to therapy. I believe that the best therapy is tailored to the individual, through careful listening and a thorough initial assessment phase. I know it can feel daunting to search for a therapist, and even more so to find the right one. That's why we start with a free 15min Zoom call for us to assess fit, during which I'll ask about your reasons for seeking therapy and answer any questions you might have. If I think I can be helpful to you, then we can schedule a first session right away.
