Life can be challenging even for the most well-adjusted individuals. Sometimes, it's hard to imagine how we can cope with or survive certain situations or experiences - relationship problems, work stress, health issues, grief, life transitions, traumatic experiences can be overwhelming. In therapy, you can develop better self-awareness, manage distressing emotions, and learn coping strategies that will promote your emotional, physical, and overall wellbeing. Making the decision to participate in therapy can be a constructive, life changing experience. Why wait to begin your journey to a more satisfying and meaningful life? My primary therapy training is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I utilize interventions guided by evidence-based therapies tailored to meet patients' specific needs or goals. I feel privileged to work with patients struggling with health concerns, anxiety, trauma, or depression to help them better manage distressing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In therapy, I create a safe, nonjudgmental, supportive therapeutic environment where patients can be their true selves and be met with genuine compassion, respect, and positive regard. I appreciate the unique qualities among all of us, but also recognize common experiences we share as human beings helping me connect quickly with patients and build rapport.
