We all have stories to create and to tell and these stories include our mental health. Therapy is a space where you can create your own story and work through your mental health journey. I aim to be a helping hand in walking alongside you in this journey for you to realize your best self. My experience includes individuals who are struggling with chronic health issues (i.e., cancer, pain, diabetes, etc.), couples who have experienced infidelity and the LGBTQIA+ community. I also specialize in aiding my clients in their spirituality (hope, purpose, meaning) as well and enjoy exploring that part of my clients lives with them. I hold a PhD in Medical Family Therapy from East Carolina University and a masters in Marriage and Family Therapy From Lee University. I aim to provide my clients with a holistic, integrated perspective on their mental health. This means that even though we will focus on your mental health, we may pull in other aspects of your health. I look forward to helping you realize your best self, create your chosen life and find a realistic and doable path towards healing. Please feel free to reach out with any questions that you have about me, my style of therapy and what I offer.
