Richard Nalbandian, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist as works with individuals located in OR and MA. Dr. Nalbandian has experience working with adults from various backgrounds on issues including anxiety, depression, grief, complex trauma, relationship struggles, family conflict, and personality troubles. He completed his internship and post-doctoral residency in Massachusetts as a fellow at the Albert and Jessie Danielsen Institute at Boston University. Dr. Nalbandian has focused training in and provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. His therapeutic style is collaborative and relational. I approach therapy as a collaboration. I value the cultural context and story of each individual, and am particularly interested in areas of creativity, psychological trauma, immigration/acculturation, group dynamics, grief, and relationship issues. I have in-depth experience working with individuals in the helping profession (i.e., therapists, clergy, and medical professionals), artists, and survivors of trauma. I have experience and interest in exploring vocational pursuits/conflicts and intersectional identity development including neurodiveristy.
