About

I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, conflicts in relationships, and uncertainty in overcoming life’s many challenges. I place equal emphasis on developing a warm, trusting therapeutic relationship and on the practice of intense listening. This allows us to discover and explore aspects of your self that have been hidden away as a means of coping with distress. At present I am able to bill for Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) or work with you to establish a fee based on a sliding scale.

All aspects of you are welcome, and it is my hope that we will create a relationship in which you find comfort and safety to be yourself. I have a special interest and experience in working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. I strive to balance cultural humility with competence, sensitivity and justice.

Because your unique word choices and use of language are products of you, it is my belief that close attention to what you say generates a richer understanding of your experience of self. It is my hope that this will lead to increased self knowledge, liberation from distress, and empowerment to engage in life.
