Have you encountered a violation related to alcohol or prohibited drugs under the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations? When a DOT-regulated employee violates DOT alcohol and drug regulations it is necessary to remove them from any safety-sensitive duties to ensure their safety and the safety of others. SAPs conduct thorough evaluations of employees who have violated DOT drug and alcohol regulations. Based on the evaluation, SAPs provide treatment recommendations, monitor employee compliance to treatment plan, and complete follow-up evaluations to determine employee's readiness to return to safety-sensitive positions. I am a Licensed Addiction Counselor, Substance Abuse Professional, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Compulsive Gambling Counselor, and Licensed Master Life Coach.
