Hi, I’m Elizabeth—thank you for your interest in my private practice. If you're reading this right now things are probably pretty tough. I can help. As a licensed psychologist, my number one goal is to help you feel better—full stop. The way we’ll do this is by moving at your pace to find out what is keeping you stuck, and then use a concrete treatment plan backed by research to get you feeling better. In my practice I specialize in working with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, family challenges, as well as adults with ADHD. Previous clients have described my style as warm, disarming, down-to-earth, and affirming. What may set me apart as a therapist is my use of concrete therapy plans to guide treatment. You and I will not just be meeting for sessions with the vague hope that things get easier—we will collaborate to come up with a specific plan to decrease or increase target behaviors (ex: less panic attacks, more calm, less angry outbursts, more friends, etc.) To help us pinpoint your deeper goals I might ask you something like, "when our therapy has ended, how will you know it worked?" Questions like these will allow us to work diligently towards a solution—easing your distress, and improving daily life. If you're ready to really work on what's going on, give me a call, and let's get you feeling better.
