Grief is a universal experience although each person's grief journey is unique. Those experiencing the death of a loved one, friend, or pet, as well as those coping with life changes such as divorce, illness, relocation, unemployment, or retirement may benefit from counseling specific to grief, loss, and transitions. I have had the honor of walking alongside many as they navigate their journey and know first-hand the benefit of compassionate counseling. I practice from a Strength-Based perspective which encourages clients to identify and utilize personal strengths to cope and heal. Strength-Based therapy acknowledges the client’s resilience, drawing upon their internal and external strengths to deal effectively with their concerns. I am also trained in various other therapeutic models. I consider my profession a calling rather than a career. As a therapist with 20+ years’ experience, licensed in Colorado and Missouri, my areas of expertise include oncology, end-of-life care, griefwork, and life transitions. I welcome your inquiries and admire your willingness to consider professional counseling.
