I am a licensed psychologist with 25 years in clinical practice working with adults of all ages and backgrounds. My practice is located in Philadelphia where I work with anxiety, mood & adjustment disorders, interpersonal issues, avoidance, overuse of screens, technology, substances and more. I tend to be solution-focused and work collaboratively based on individual needs and personal goals. My strength is in helping clients to better understand, face and manage problems through evidence-based treatment such as CBT along with promising new approaches such as ketamine assisted psychotherapy for persistent problems /getting unstuck. Research & practice in the field of stress, coping and resilience informs my work with existential issues in the aftermath of threats from 9/11 to COVID to AI. I am strongly invested in helping my clients to overcome issues of depression, anxiety, loss and uncertainty in a world filled with change and unprecedented challenge. My practice is inclusive and I am committed to creating and maintaining an atmosphere of openness, trust and safety where all attitudes, beliefs, values and behaviors can be freely explored and discussed.
