Do you know what changes you want to make, but not how to get there? Whether you seek brief help or more comprehensive guidance, I am here to help you reach your goals. I have assisted adolescents and adults living with a range of behavioral health concerns, including: depression, anxiety, bipolar, substance use disorders, trauma and PTSD, adjustment disorders, neurodiversity, conduct and personality disorders, OCD, dissociative disorders, neurocognitive disorders, schizophrenic disorders, and co-occurring disorders. I strongly believe in respecting individual characteristics while honoring cultural, gender, and other identities. Treatment should be tailored to you, and having a toolbox of approaches is critical. Motivational interviewing and mindfulness guide my interactions with clients. Cognitive behavioral therapy, along with elements of dialectical behavior strength-based, solution-focused, psychodynamic, and other therapies, typically form the framework my approach. I look forward to working beside you during this stage of your life journey. I am confident that you will be able to overcome challenges and achieve the goals that you identify. Your goals and needs will guide a flexible agenda for our sessions. Self-determination will allow you to leave counseling with lasting skills and tools as you move forward in life.
