About

I am a highly trained and experienced clinical social worker whose practice invites individuals, couples & families facing adaptational challenges of all kinds throughout the life cycle: infancy through end-of-life. Working with strength-based developmental treatment models, I find best results are achieved in strong collaboration with individuals (and designated family members), who have the capacity to engage in a meaningful therapeutic relationship, have good family and social supports, and are motivated for change.

Clinical work is guided by a strong biopsychosocial model of human behavior. Behavioral Health model(s) including health status are used as a guide for establishing appropriate goals and objectives in a realistic treatment plan for both children and adults.

I am well established in the New Haven area with statewide referral bases throughout CT. Longstanding academic affiliations incl. Yale-New Haven Hospital (Pediatrics); Yale School of Medicine (Student Health Division of Mental Hygiene; Child Study Center; Center for Bioethics); University of Colorado Child Health Associate Program; Mayo Medical System.
