About

The hardest part of healing is often taking the first step- and here you are. Choosing the "right fit" therapist is about matching your needs to the skills & experience of someone who can partner with you on your journey to health and happiness. I am a former teacher who became a therapist to help teens who struggle with anxiety, depression and other challenges- often without support. My door is open to adolescents and adults who want to feel better about themselves and their lives by building self-awareness, self-acceptance, and a toolbox of skills for working through tough times and improving their relationships.

My goal is not only to understand the issues that have led you to seek therapy, but also the circumstances and values that influence who you are. When we work together to develop a trusting partnership, we will combine elements of CBT, Mindfulness, Schema Therapy and other modalities to create a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals.

If you are struggling or feeling lost, it may be time to reach out. It can help to talk through what you're going through in a safe, confidential environment- and you may find that it's the first step toward a happier, healthier life. There is only one way to find out- I'm here when you're ready.
