I seek to create a safe and nurturing environment which supports healing and growth. I have an eclectic approach that is tailored to each individual client and what feels most helpful in the moment. I make use of Psychodynamic insight oriented psychotherapy, CBT, the Expressive Arts, Focusing, Relaxation Training and more, within a Holistic/Mindfulness and Strength-Based approach. I work with adults and children. I support adults through: life transitions, grief, relationship struggles, women's issues, anxiety, depression, caregiver stress, being an adult child of an alcoholic or other dysfunction, young adult identity issues, stress management and more. I am LGBT friendly. I support children through: changes in the family such as separation and divorce, illness, death of a loved one and adjusting to new blended families; low self-esteem, anxiety and depression; being a sibling of a child with special needs, and more. I make use of Play Therapy, the Expressive Arts, CBT, and Stress Management. I also offer Parent Guidance, including support in being a family of a child with special needs, and effective co-parenting in separation and divorce situations.
