When we find ourselves in the midst of change as we are now, we can feel anxious, overwhelmed, scared, and isolated. We can learn however, to be flexible and resilient and to use these times as a way to strengthen ourselves. The urge to minimize our pain and power through, as though everything is the same, can lead to feelings of isolation, and fear. We may find we are lacking confidence in our ability to move forward, or we may find ourselves at a crossroads, not knowing which direction to take. Alternatively, we can develop our internal resiliency, broaden our perspectives and meet the challenges we face, and grow stronger. I specialize in anxiety, depression, transitions, grief, Illness, Pre and Post Natal issues. I use an integrated approach depending on each individual, informed by Mindfulness, Existential thought , Act, and CBT. I use EMDR and CPT to work with Trauma issues. Through our work together, you will be reminded of and further develop your own resiliency, gain a renewed relationship with your intellectual, emotional, and creative self. We can make effective change by strengthening our internal resources, and by adopting new ways of seeing.
